it’s true that seer are physically weaker than most of other pathway but what Klein need the most is noledge and the seer pathway is one of the bests if not the best in that regard and Klein was able to see Emperor Roselle saying that it was one of the tree best choice (for reason that will be explained in later volumes) and i can tell already that seer are really difficult to kill because of their high chance of survival.

If they don’t know what a beyonder is at this point, that is a literacy issue. Not the anime’s fault. The only things that were confusing before were the sequences/potions and the pathways. As of episodes 3 and 4, we have a better understanding of what the sequences are, but the different pathways and advancements in them remain unclear.

What an emotionally charged episode. Shit is starting to pick up now. The scene of Klein suffering the repercussions of staring directly at a deity was intense and visually stunning. Hey, at least he got a few rewards and valuable experience from this ordeal. I’m curious how the charm and sequence 4 formula will come into play later on. The name of the sequence was underwhelming. It could be the English translation or CR subs. Either way, I’m positive it sounds cooler in Chinese.
His teacher is a sad, lonely BEAST—the literal embodiment of death. Honestly, I was scared for Klien for a moment. I was shouting at him to use his danger intuition ability to determine if meeting his teacher would be safe. At least he did so when they went to the castle together without any support. First, I want to thank the person who consistently recommends the chibi shorts. I watched all of them and thoroughly enjoyed each one. After finishing the shorts, YouTube recommended two videos by the same creator that I also found interesting.
The first video is about ten minutes long and gives a brief introduction to the world of LoM. It doesn’t go too in-depth but provides just enough information to get you started. Additionally, the creator offers more context about the power system that isn’t covered in the second video.
The second video is around thirteen minutes long and focuses specifically on the power system. Of course, it avoids any spoilers. However, during the discussion of beyonders in the first video, there is a sneak peek at a table on the Seer pathway. As a result, I now have an idea of the evolution that Klein will undergo, although I couldn’t fully read the name for Sequence 1. So, there’s that!

This is a TL;DR of what I’ve learned about the power system so far. The 22 Pathways align with or represent the characteristics of the Major Arcana. The Hunter (which we haven’t been introduced to yet) corresponds to the Chariot Arcana, while Sleepless aligns with the Star Arcana. I’m a bit confused, though. I assume the Assassin Pathway would relate to either the Lovers, Magician, or Devil Arcana. Since we don’t yet know all 22 Pathways, I can’t be certain about anything.
Moving on, sequences 9 and 8 are considered low tier. Beyonders at this level are slightly above humans. For example, a Hunter (sequence 9), which follows a physically oriented pathway, possesses super strength, heightened senses, and superior reflexes. A Seer, on the other hand, has enhanced memory, paranormal intuition, the ability to see unseen entities (referred to as spirit sight), and a natural talent for magic and divination.
Sequences 7 through 3 represent the mid-tier. Those within this category have godlike abilities while still remaining within the realm of mortals. The final two sequences are high-tier, powerful enough to rival the Scarlet Witch in terms of their capabilities.
Additionally, each organization specializes in one specific pathway. While they may have members from other pathways, the majority of their members belong to one. For instance, most members of the Nighthawks are associated with the Sleepless and Corpse Collector pathways, while the Demoness Sect primarily consists of members from the Assassins pathway.

The reason the donghua isn’t following the novel exactly and seems to be “skipping” over certain parts is that the director and author chose an event-based structure. This approach rearranges the content to create a more coherent narrative flow than what is presented in the novel. Each episode features subplots drawn from different chapters, alongside a main overarching plot. While the anime has omitted some exposition and essential details, these may be revealed later on. Instead of overwhelming us with information (aka spoonfeeding), the creators want us to piece things together in the same way that Klein does. Additionally, they released an English dub this afternoon.

I love this series, but after the first two episodes I kind of got lost story wise.
Damn Mr Azik has had a really nightmarish life, After getting murdered by soldiers with his region, and getting his Beyonder powers Seq. [unknown]. He’s been like a immortal forgetting his past lives and losing his family due to his powers over and over again. Now some twisted arsehole turned his Son into a wraith and took his skull, While i don’t see him joining the Nighthawks i do see them [Klein] looking for who did it.
Wow. just Wow, no wonder they gave us an extra couple mins of this eps, this was a very interesting and very deeep eps but honestly saying I was so toned into I thought I was basically feeling ngl this was a feels deep of an eps man everything was perfect emotions, atmosphere, music/sounds, character detailing and environment detailing was on point. for this was a 100/100. Kudos to the animators, author, production and post and ofc last but not the least Xin san thank u for sharing it with us.

The whole premise of Klein transmigration is awful, involving the deaths of several people (some by willing sacrifice, others not so willing), the first we saw of him was a bullet in his head and the horrendous damage caused, and now this..
Burning is 1 of the most awful things to suffer, it’s slow, you feel it on every nerve, cell and inch of skin, it’s excruciatingly painful, the pain never goes away, requiring lifelong pain relief, and the scars are horrendous and incredibly difficult to heal, if they heal at all.
Even if someone is successful they might pay for it with their immortal soul FOREVER, a harsh price tag f endless suffering because of a fleeting moment of gain in Life. Nah, this is too for up I rather deal in white magic,
Last, what Klein said about “gazing on a god” is no small thing. No one who gazes on divinity survives as the sight is too overwhelming for a mind at the human frequency to comprehend. Sacred texts, biblical and Kabbala accounts of people looking on God invariably end with the persons dying of horror, and even proximity to the divine can cause horrific effects if they don’t follow the correct precautions (usually scientific measures disguised as mysterious ritual) for example the precautions dictated by Yahwe on approaching and handling the Arc of the Covenant.
