Maybe it’s because better quality donghuas are out which make this one pale in comparison . 🤷
In a way yeah, since wr have The Demon Hunter for example. Hell even Ever Night is getting some attention now fam cause of the crisp animations!!! 🤯🤯🤯

It could also be the writing, those 3 have superior storytelling let alone animation quality.
MM has always been low budget since day 1 fam. We’ve seen their evolutions when nobody wants to watch it and look at it now. The quality keeps getting better over the years. 👌👌👌
Fam, the thing with this season is that there are putting Mu Chen against very tough enemies from get go, so because of that there is too much plot armor and in way, it’s getting boring and repetitive.
Atleast, that’s my opinion.
Look at the current season of the demon hunter, yeah the mc had to fight already some strong enemies, but there was no need of the plot armor, not that much atleast.
He is progressing at his pace while learning a new sword technique
And on the other side you have the screen writers who are kind of forcing the progression of Mu Chen. 🤦♂️
l know that they are different stories, but when you look at the writing of this season you can spot where the problem is.
Even Feng Han who is progressing slowly in is story, it’s still satisfying see, not like here.
Don’t get me wrong, the story of this season is still good in a way, it’s just the writing for the battles of Mu Chen than kind of boring.

In all honesty, i was waiting for him to get away again. They did this multiple times to the other criminal Mu Chen was fighting.
Not to mention other donghuas like BttH do this constantly. Massive Plot Armor for the enemy.

So i was pleasantly surprised Mu Chen actually managed to kill him, despite the Demon Elder trying to stop it. The only positive part of this god awful and boring episode.

They should “leak” the new model anonymously on the internet, if the viewers like it, then proceed with it, if the viewers don’t, then go back and try again, then brand it as fan art if they must.
