That’s one of the main problems that i have with cultivation donghuas, the screen writers, often favors the bad guy.
l mean for the mc we can understand if there is some ” plot armor ” because he must face a lot of hardships on his way to the top, he even loses lot of people who he cares about, all of that for him to ” grow up ” but the bad guy always has a cheat code who is someone powerful backing him up. 🤦♂️
