the crazy part about everything that keeps happening is everything from Chen Nan’s time period is so incredibly busted. HIS bow and I do mean his because it was his family heirloom that that bitch tantai xuan gave to someone else when his family got destroyed, the winged giant, the eastern protector, even the body of his fiance are all super cracked with power and he would have been in the same category if not for tantai xuan and so far as we know, the only reason she did it was because she was jealous there was another person in the same power category as her or someon who might be able to get ahead of her in power.
I’ve read some reddit post and know there are some other reasons behind what he did in the novel but based on what I read the story has already gone far away from that so I don’t if that plot point will come up in the donghua.
Man, Chen Nan really needs to get revenge on her for what she did to him. Its so brazy, coz she injected energy into his body to block his energy and SLOWLY let his cultivation drop then people started fucking with his family, then the destruction dao finally ruined him and killed his girl and then ultimately did him in and after all that suffering, Tantai Xuan spun the block, came and took his family heirloom weapon and probably some other treasures as well, gave the bow to another family, helped them establish a royal family in the area his family used to own and even got a statue made of her for her supposed “MAGNAMITY AND PATRONAGE”. Like, Chen Nan doesn’t even have the ridiculous cultivation speed he had before he died and its taken so long to get to top level 4 like it has.
It has been a while since I’ve a character more deserving of revenge being enacted on them, especially when its not even that she’s a hardcore villian who does it for the love of the game, she just did just because she didn’t want to be compared to anyone. Don’t worry things will take a better turn as the story goes, besides Chen Family is super powerful ancient family from primordial era they have their presence in Heavenly realm, only his father had some issues with the main family because of that evil technique. Valevan already explained earlier. So he came to mortal realm, got himself established here, things are pretty dark here as the people here use heaven and earth like game of chess, everybody is someones loos end, pawn, waiting to be deployed or destroyed based on the situation. So ToFG has more than it meets the eye…
What happened to the destruction dao and Chen Nan’s personal beef with them for what their ancestors did to him and also about how he is a reincarntion of someone and the whole reason his dad buried him so he could revive eventually in the first place. We seemed to have just fucking forgor about that. thats what i wanna know and also the lady who seems to be the sister of the person he reincarnated from
