You can see the AI Slop in Soul Land 2 as well, many many times. Mostly when they do far up in the sky camera pans around the Academy or Cities.
And especially the Outro where they show off the characters. Thats all AI Slop generated.
Watch out for unnatural object deformations, stuff that phases in and out of existence and strange animations. Its easy to spot once you recognize the pattern.

I think the overall look of this new season where someone said it looks like a oil painting is because they ran all of the character models through an AI model to tweak the models for the new season so they don’t have to completely make new models to show the passage of time.
All of the charcters either look very subtlely different to show they are older or have no change but have that filter over them, and the ones that look subtlely different is very similar to some YT thumbnails I’ve seen where you see person whose video it is looks like themselves in the video but on the thumbnail it doesn’t QUITE look like them but you can still recognise it’s them

The story went mach 10 in speed. Hopefully, it doesn’t go the Perfect World route where there’s barely a skeleton frame of a story and it’s just one fight after another.
