remember his Symbols mastery let him delay or trigger them when he feels he has enough power, as the realms are just a number to him. Because he was already transcendent [like a heavenly symbols master 1 or 2 at this point] symbols control, he has just been building soul power to go further, but also saving those tribulations for when its safe/needed i guess.

What they’re doing to this is masterpiece is criminal! they left so much out just to speed things up, the hundred year war is a long, well thought out ARC both in the NOVEL and MANGA. It was the place where he truly grew up showing he come along way and prove he’s worthy of Ling Qingzhu via promise made… but here in the donghua it just look as though he entered some cave to find a few treasure. The well written story and plot the author did so well to write was thrown away and this became like “Perfect world” Donghua where they left out the story and just had a bunch of brute punching.
its like they cut it to force this season to end within second phase of the tourney, with a bunch of sudden powerups

I wish the studio who did this had just left it to another who had the time to truly follow the plot. The hundred war arc should’ve been a 50-80+ long arc with the amount of material the author gave. Su Rou emblem powers…how she got it with her brothers, the treasures from the auctions ling dong got that help him grew, the techniques and friends he made during the war…also how he made his enemies from the top empires and over came them step by step while his life constantly threatened while on the run etc etc NONE OF THAT WAS SHOWN…
Go to Donhuastream and watch the entire 12ep.. Doesnt matter if it translated properly or not… they fuck everything up so bad by leaving so many key parts out, etccccccccccccccccc etcccccccccccccccc …at this point its just to kill time why am watching… i love the novel/manga and this donghua just pissed away the author hardwork.
