Ngl, the crazy plot twist at the end is what surprised me the most cause I didn’t expect it to go that way. And to think that everything that happened to Marc was planned all along from the very start. 😔 😔 😔

Our white haired maiden?? Fam did you not watch the whole episode, they show her at the end riding her motorcycle. I mean I think the person Marc killed could just be a clone of her or something. They have ways here since we’ve seen Marc himself got cloned.
The motorcycle scene is a flashback. It is the same moment when Marc is at the gate of Boss Bai’s Lab. The Lab’s system notified and asked Boss Bai whether to grant “Lu Sheng” access to the lab which she did and proceed with the plan.
She is not dead. The whole event is within her plan, including the loss of her arm. There is a scene that showed her fingers twitch before her arm was chopped. That is her stopping herself from moving so that Marc can use her arm to get back to Earth. The space station debris field is a preset destination in her airplane. One of the space debris is still active and her body is drifting toward it. She most probably has the ability to regenerate her body though, so don’t worry too much about her.
The motive is to convince Manna/Higher dimensional beings that Marc is on their side so to accept him and modify his double strand DNA to triple helix DNA. Only with the triple helix DNA, can Marc go to the Manna world/realm. Not sure if Marc is acting or really doesn’t know the plan though.
Most likely Marc doesn’t know anything because if he did, it will be hard to trick Manna into accepting him.

The title of this episode is “Above (Beyond) the Chessboard”. Escaping the fate of chess pieces, stepping off the board.
