This series has so upped its game since last season. Had me riveted right down to the last frame. To think this is only episode 3, hopefully it will keep its momentum all the way through and become that epic like some of the other series we watch.
IDK – this fight kinda felt like a Solo Leveling clone, from the visuals, to the music, to the aura farming. MC feels a lot like Xianxia Sung Jinwoo in this.
Also – are they just completely ignoring the last 5-6 episodes of S2? Is this girl supposed to be the same girl he found before the climax of last season? The timeline feels so freaking warped!

True tbh this feels like a different donghua from what it was previously. It feels like a new donghua that was just released or something since everyone have a massive change in their appearances and looks, and the quality has also been upped.
not just that, but the plot seems massively deviated from where S2 left off. I had only watched through half of S2 previously so when S3 came out I went and watched the 2nd half of S2 and once I started watching S3 right after finishing S2 I got SOOOO confused! IDK if I missed a movie or something or if they just completely rewrote or erased the plot from about episode 18-20 of S2 and decided to tell a different story or what, but I’m completely lost rn
They really went all out this time, the animation out there would give a run for money to any other Donghuas out there…

My only gripe is that why are the stakes raised so high in the first three episodes, to me it seems like this studio is trying to have a dick measuring contest with the previous studio to say “oh, we have more money so we can depict the seven demon saber technique better than you can”
