I started watching it to inspire me to learn more about 3D animation initially, and I ended up hooked on it over the years. I dropped the animation path and focused more on AI/ML. It has been quite a journey, from Soul Land, which ended up being disappointing. Season 1 of Soul Land and the beginning of Season 2 were great. The middle to final part of Soul Land was very disappointing for me personally. However, others like BTTH, Martial Universe, and Swallowed Star, on whose page I am commenting, have been amazing. I love Chinese stories even more than Japanese ones and obviously more than Western animation. It has been such a great journey in the world of Donghua, especially on this site, which I really love a lot.

Soul Land and BTTH were my beginning though and it eventually gotten bigger as time went by and new donghuas started popping up and becoming popular. It’s also another reasons I left anime cause I guess I got tired of the same plot they always give us. I still do watch some of them though but not really the new ones. Just the ones that are interesting for my taste. I’m definitely going to be here in the long run as long as new donghuas keep popping up. The only difference is which side you’re fighting on. But as long as it’s “gods fighting” people will overlook anything.
It brings you to a higher level of perspective. If he does not kill the huge threat at a certain cost, then a lot more will die. At some point, ‘for the greater good’ becomes true. Its the same for how he killed thousands of world masters in the blood river world just to get some stones. He understands that he has to do whatever it takes to become strong and reach a higher realm. Even so, he has not abandoned his humanity. He is not a catastrophe cultivator on the demonic path.
