This MC is funny and interesting, the aspects of being Wukong I guess. 😅😅😅 and that old woman who became younger that keeps saying “she reminds me of him” she must be talking about the Wukong they have in Westward right?? I know they have a Wukong in their party.
Let’s be real this kid could be just one of the many reincarnations that Wukong have tbh, I mean we’ve seen a lot of him scattered all over the place. So it’s not that weird seeing one of his incarnations.
not sure how i feel about all these prequels instead of just carrying on the main current day plot. Feels like they are trying to milk the IP, esp after the Ashura king and then Black Myth, releases proved they can pretty much get away with it.

This is a prequel to The Westward focused on Wukong before he joins TS to protect the Journey of the Flame to the West. He has already met the Flame for the first time. The OST shows all of the characters from Xi Xing Ji including TS and the gang and Wukong after he has grown up and reincarnated yet again. Which happens quite a lot with him since he is a God and Immortal.
Regardless what it is the order they are making those doesnt make sense and its quite confusing i dont like it
The main story The Westward finished a few months back and it is finally concluded.
My other comment aside, it is nice to see where he learned his insane overpowered illusion magic from.
