so then is this series complete then or what. R we now moving to the real world or something else.
Well that was a bit of an abrupt and rushed ending. Open ended more like. Season 2, highly doubt it but you never know. Guessing the blossoms were her way of saying she is back.
Expected more but good for that one time watch.
Chinese and Japanese studios have a bad habit of leaving the endings open even if they plan on never coming back. In case there’s a chance to cash in big on it. Sadly most of them are never picked up again.
I doubt this was the ending, they might see each other again and Liu Ling is not a frail prince but a much stronger one. And it didn’t feel like an ending with Yao Ji and him, it was more like a goodbye for now.

And another! 🤦🏻♀️ 3 steps away from the stone and the guy still manages to get there first 😂
That was a cute little end song. We probably will never see more of this story but I enjoyed the system/historical vibe.
