Wow, they’re not lying. this is literally peak fiction. Im jaded and bitter and the comedy in this has me laughing, giggling, chuckling etc.
It really is peak fiction.
Don’t let the name fool you. (fooled me, i passed this for weeks) Comedy may be at it’s core but well done comedies are also well done dramas. Two sides of the same coin. So it’s a well rounded story. Although it errs on the side of comedy.
But this has it all. Even the romance is grounded and well done (not harem, AND absolute BEST WAIFU EVER, hands down no question it doesn’t get better than her… lmao you’ll see…shes like a cloud in the sky….PERFECT!)
The setting/milieu is perfect, it’s basically chinese genesis mythology but with cultivation and a few twists. MC is very likable. His techniques are unique, entertaining and powerful. He’s heroic and “op” but he’s also always being challenged by those more powerful, to which there are many. This MC uses his wits rather than brawn. He’s cautious, clever, strategic, scrupulous at times, thoughtful at others.
The CGI/animation is top tier and it gets even better very quickly considering most of the episodes are either 2024 or current 2025 (that’s 100+ episodes!)
