I expected the moment she got taken for him to lose it. Yet he lets them play him to death.
i watched the first season. It was okay. Lets not forget, this guy originally was killed BY A HIGH FIVE…from a woman at that (sorry but seriously!?)
1st season was more of a comedy and his motives were shallow as a puddle. I watched 6 episodes from the 2nd season and just dropped it. School Arc or sum. Guess i didn’t miss much considering the ONLY recap they gave for S2 was that he found a girl lmao
But really it’s counterintuitive that he didn’t go mad to protect the kid when his entire motive and core regret was to protect his woman? How infuriating
It was very long after which S2 came and kinda felt like downgrade in quality/action wise. Maybe just because my memory thinks S1 was Better and now can’t remember for sure. And Hence here I am, not having watched S2 and S3 is out already,lmao.

s1 was best. I thought it would be interesting plot but it seems with each season its typical stupid MC with power of faith to turn things upside down at last moment. no actual planing, no insight into his own power, no caution. just everything is plain stupid. like taking a kid with himself when he doesnt even have the power to protect himself.

Just finished watching s1 and s2..and the MC’s stupidity pisses me off. you’d expect a little bit smart MC who just reincarnated, but we’re stuck with a person with below average IQ.
After watching Renegade Immortal where wang lin just instantly kills anyone who hurts even a hair on his loved ones..i get totally pissed off watching these useless MC who just starts a sparring contest with people who hurts their loved ones and then screams uselessly when things turn unfavorable for them. Take this moron for example,if he had just cut off that Duke’s hands and killed his lackeys inside the shop instead of talking nonsense, the following events wouldn’t have happened and the little girl wouldn’t have been traumatized. This is a world of cultivation for god’s sake, it’s supposed to be brutal with power hungry and ruthless cultivators where the strong rules and weak and naive idiots like the MC dies.so why do some authors write these characters so naive and moronic? Even righteous cultivator’s should be decisive and ruthless when needed.
Exactly my thoughts. whats the point of taking her with him when he himself survive every battle with sheer luck. it seems every battle makes him more stupid. whats the use of previous experience. total bullshit plot in this season. i thought it would become mature.
I’ve seen the trailer for s3 and saw when he is fighting a whole army but I didn’t shit was gonna escalate in the first episode, also why is he having any kind of trouble against them, they should ALL be on the ground by now, also also what happened to his dragon catcher technique or the hou yi bow, isn’t it a part of him, can’t he just whip it out whenever. The other thing that’s getting to me is why does his reverse flow have a dark side, it wasn’t like that at the end s2, he was in complete control of himself when he did it and why is s3 starting as if him going to the forest is the first time he’s met her

He got the power and all but still try to act dumb, i just realised watched the last 2 seasons he never kill his opponent until the built up drama, and he just cant think the possible outcome too.. i meant the suspense built up drama really unnecessary
