Why is he a troll? I agree with him 100%. IMO, this show is okay, but not worth watching weekly; I only come back and binge it when I don’t have anything else to watch, just like he said.
This show suffers from the same mediocrity of BTTH where the fights are kinda lame and predictable – there isn’t that much actually going on, and they cover that up with moving the “camera” around constantly so you get dizzy just trying to watch the director attempting to create excitement out of minimal substance: it’s 3D animation’s version of blur-lines from 2D animation. It’s little different than live action movies where a single punch, throw, or kick involves 6 or 7 different cut scenes to try to make something that is rather benign look dramatic.

Exactly. Storywise it’s the most painfully bland thing you could possibly make. But even then, progression moving at a snail’s pace. This entire episode’s “events” should’ve taken no more than 3-5 minutes, instead MC was constantly holding back for no reason other than to pad the runtime. His beloved girlfriend got hurt and he barely even showed any emotional response, and even that was only at the beginning. Follow up the most generic good guy/bad guy fight with lots of kicks and punches and practically no results with the staple “sneak attack” and more of the usual bragging and slander and vowing revenge. End of episode. This shit is so ungodly generic and uninteresting it might as well been written by AI. Oh right sorry I forgot, much flashy, very wow, best show 4eva.

yes everyone is entitled to their opinions. People don’t have to always agree or like the same thing. I personally think this show is above average and better than Throne Seal and on par with Swallowed Star. But nothing comes close to Renegade Immortal though, the undisputed king.
