The music, the visuals, and everything else were awesome. As always, this donghua delivers in that aspect. After this one, we will finally be continuing to the next season. That was a nice little filler prequel. It’s good to know that Meng Chuan & Liu Qiyue’s relationship has taken a new turn. Now we have to wait patiently for their wedding day. 🙂↕️ 🙂↕️ 🙂↕️

Fam, i liked how the mother of Qiyue gave a little beat up to that arsehole when she appeared.
It was good to have a glimpse of her past and damn her family bloodline seems to be powerful. 💪
It was funny when the two fathes were speaking about the beach festival, the kids were shy and freaking out. 🤣🤣
Btw the beach outfit of Qiyue fitted her very well, she was very beautiful that outfit. 😏

Was this prequel really necessary?
I liked it. It fleshed their relationship out a bit more and told us more about her bloodline. Also we’ve got the backstory of her now plus they introduced the dragon bloodline which will clearly come back if you’ve watched the post credit scene
It was a nice little filler episode fam and we got to know a lot about some stuff and it was only 3 episodes anyway.
Those two father of mc and qiyue, both pulled the women from two of the most popular clan no wonder they two are bestfriends hahah
this donghua has the best animation- the style, the colours everything is top notch

Its always in these types of xianxa/wuxia stories when there is an overwhelming enemy force and they say “oh, if you kill mc, we’ll back off for x amount of years” that when people start contemplating it, they never realise, they’re only saying this because they know even if the “good guy” side agrees to this and kill said person. not only are they just gonna come back stronger since they already have the advantage but they are also just going kill the ONE person who has a chance of saving everybody, LIKE WHY THE HELL DO YOU THINK THEY asked them to killed, ITS because they don’t want him to get strong enough to do deal with them permanently. And also MC is the only onewho can permanently close space time rifts, making it impossible for demons to use that entrance again
