Nah bro this is by far the best donghua I’ve ever watched. Story is insane, foreshadowing and plot twists are out of the world, characters are top even side characters, fights and choreography is insane, emotional impact and art style are beautiful and the lore and worldbuilding are really interesting. No other donghua has all these things in one package

This is cool and all, but I think it hurts the overall world building of the show. Bit of a shame they couldn’t have planed ahead a bit more in the previous seasons to better incorporate this prequel into the overall story.
