Istg sometimes the names gets confusing since I thought the family name’s Yan lol. They also got several mysterious character who I’m not sure who they actually are in the story (the masked guy in the end with the fox, who I believe gave people the body refinement thing in their awakening of it)
I always enjoy seeing the storyboards in the credits too, which often begs the question what this series could look like had they done it in 2D with To Be Hero X’s or Lord of Mysteries’ budget
Though sometimes I wonder what the actual shot ended up being, like the guy in 24:00, is that MC’s master?

I think this is going to show that the people in Cang Yuan were wrong for focusing only on the Saint of Cang Yuan path, because Yan Jin is focusing on the sword path and it seems like his brother went to go look for the original Sword Sect legacy just for him and Qiyue is focusing on bloodline. Now this makes me think that the only reason Saint path became “the way to go” is because all of the foundations of other paths got forgotten or destroyed some how because why would you focus on a path that can only accommodate 10 people every three years (and it’s not even like they become the strongest they can be, they start at the beginning of a new path to power) and THERE ARE BASICALLY MILLIONS OF DEMONS, possible hundreds of thousands of demon kings and on top of that, they have their own big seven called the demon saints that seem to be possibly stronger than the seven kings of saints

I already knew that Zhang Cheng was Meng Chuan’s future self. Since he had reached a realm above the gods and was living alone after the extermination of the demons, he wanted to change it so that humans could survive.
Finally got around to watching and was not disappointed other than how short the interaction was between father and son and the conclusion of it. Looking forward to next season when we see the Gang get stronger and MC again out there subduing demons. That preview was unexpected but not surprising.
