You, me, tan yun and others wanted to see that happen fam. Kind of sad they didn’t give us an amazing kissing scene, that would’ve been an awesome ending to this movie.

Movie name is battle of gods but, only wang lin is the god here, and woo, if these guys were part of the main story of renegade immortal, they would’ve been erased from existence long ago since they were only deity transformation, not even peak of the first step. anyways, it was good movie, but not that good like the main series since I’m not a fan of wang lin and li muwan love story, well novel had no love story since she died in like 300-450 chapters and gets revived in the last chapter which is about 2089

I excepted more from this movie I know everything here was meant to showcase their relationship and love but they did way too much firstly she really doesn’t have to help in everything secondly for the first time since watching this series I saw too much plot armour protection and to think there was no kiss scene what nonsense
A lot of things were just dragged out too much if you predicted your own demise then you should have just warned your overconfident stupid desciple from the beginning
The wang lin I know used to cautious very cautious to the point he had to know almost everything about his opponent before taking action but look at him now making risky plans like this is this what happens when you fall in love damn I hope my from RMJIM stays single forever
You had sixty years of knowledge abilities intent realm of so many masters and even the fate of your opponent in your hand and still couldn’t win damn I feel their pain
To think the mc is already strong enough to fight on pair with someone in the late stage of deity transformation realm when did he get this strong when did he even break through the last boss strength was definitely above any other late stage probably perfect stage I would say
My best character in this movie has to be the guy with the all calculating intent realm I think his ability is a bit cool

I’m not positive and I’m just guessing here based on the previous Perfect World movie, but I don’t think this is canon – If this is some made up BS just to make a movie, it makes sense that it wasn’t all that great.
Yeah, it was still a largely enjoyable watch, but it wasn’t to the level of the main series for sure – it was a 1.5 hour slug-fest “in the name of love”, and it didn’t really feel as intense nor as well written as the main story line; frankly, a lot of the plot points didn’t make sense – like, you saw the future where you battled Wang Lin hundreds of times and lost? Then maybe tell your idiot disciple not to attack Li Muwan and her sect, duh. Or did you WANT him to attack her to get the Ancient God Body? If that’s the case, why be mad at your disciple? It seems the goalposts get shifted around 4 or 5 times during the movie in ways that don’t make any fucking sense.
Gotta say, this movie was boring af. No plot, just rehashing multiple episodes of the series. She’s poisoned, again. She’s dying, again. He’s on a terror spree trying to save her, again. Just mindless action scenes that make no sense. While the series is good, this movie was such a disappointment.
I’m just assuming at this point that this movie was completely made-up by the studio and isn’t canon at all.
i saw the trailer at the end of original episode and wow new movie must be “fun”. and here is what we got, better graphic which should be use in original but instead used here for made up plot that isnt even fun or enjoyable. truly disappoint better not make this movie for me. original is just too good compared to this

This gave me some John Wick vibes when the master was telling his disciple about Wan Lin. I assume this is an alternate reality where he didn’t go to the Rain Immortal Realm and got back to Wan’er early.
