Encoding… too early

Some differences from the novel that I noticed (I could have misremembered some points):

-Klein actually asks Azik to create a paranormal activity in Morse Town after visiting the ruined castle. Klein wanted to make the Flaring Sun Charms (very overpowered charms) using one of the recipes (remember he got it alongside the sequence 4,7,8,9 of the Bard/Sun potion) he got from almost being incinerated (by the Sun God via probing into Sealed Artifact 3-0782 and seeing into the drop of Blazing Sun God’s blood–the golden liquid in his divination). It requires siphoning off a little bit of Sealed Artifact 3-0782’s power alongside ingredients he didn’t have on hand during the last Nighthawks mission into the castle.

-The doll that brief opened Chanis Gate actually dropped a piece of paper with a vertical eye for Klein and there was no siren. The two members that came down did so after Klein reported the Gate had opened to Dunn, so there was time for Klein to take the paper.

-The scene with Sirius Arapis jumping out the window so abruptly felt weird because what actually happened was Klein was using a (probationary) police inspector outfit and he showed the librarian the Arapis sketch he drew from his divination. As he was leaving the library, Arapis ‘coincidentally’ walked into the library. Klein noticed him and does not alert him because he wanted to call for backup first, but the librarian recognized Arapis from the sketch and shouted for the police aka Klein that the criminal was here, dashing his plans, which was amusing btw.

(The outfit & badge was given to him when he signed up as a formal Nighthawk member. There’s a cooperation because Church secret organizations and the police. Which is why Klein’s salary is paid by both police & Church)

-Klein was alone fighting and Arapis fell short on his attack because Klein made a quick judgment call to stop and slowly chase him as he went into an alley, in case of an ambush. Also, Klein have been assigned strength & combat training with a former knight, Gawain, at this point.

-Klein was alone to spirit channel Arapis’s corpse and was not interrupted with his info looting. The Clown recipe plus a couple other recipes the Nighthawks got was when they searched Arapis’ apartment.

-Klein actually ‘fully’ digested his Seer potion priopr to his Arapis encounter in the Nighthawks HQ after the Trissy case (remember the male turn into female witch case) where Klein mistaken the interpretation of his divination of Trissy’s whereabouts where it showed his/her boarding the train to leave Tingen City as night time immediately he/she escaped capture at night. In fact, Klein was operating under his old transmigration life’s assumption where trains run at night, but because of a lack of electricity and petroleum literally does NOT exist in this world–they use steam/candle light–they do not run until daylight/morning. Had he told Captain Dunn immediately instead of figuring it out the next morning, Trissy probably would have been caught. After this ordeal, Old Neil said divination wasn’t powerful and Klein admits divination was not that powerful and then his Seeker potion was fully digested.

-The scene with the spirit was his ingenious summoning of himself. Normally, people use summons that are addressed to themselves via an incantation that pinpoint a specific person like a mailbox. When he summons as The Fool he actually summons his out-of-body self like a ghost and when given enough spiritual energy by touching objects with high spiritual energy like the Flare Sun Charms or Azik’s Copper whistle) then he can start manipulating and moving ordinary objects without passing through them in this state.

(The problem with the show is this summoning can only be done after he drank the LV 8 Clown potion and not before due to a lack of energy as a LV 9 Seer)

-The end scene with the cultists… The woman was actually raped in the book. She was manipulated into thinking she was actually having sex with Lavenus (her boyfriend) when in fact, it actually an evil God.
