Damn, after what happened in the previous episode, it looks like Klein is becoming suspicious of the Captain now. I really hope it’s nothing crazy, fam, cause a lot of crazy things are already going on in this story. At the end of the day, the Captain is still part of the Nighthawks, and he hasn’t really shown any sort of hostility towards everyone.
Welp, while our boi tackles that problem, eventually they have a more depressing matter at hand. And I think Klein pretty much already knows where that bomb they are talking about is. Ngl, it’s pretty disturbing, but nothing surprises me anymore with this story. I mean, Klein is close with someone immortal, and we got their Captain that could be a mutant/vampire, what more do you want?? 😅 😅 😅

Yeah, he is just doing his own part to help the people that died before them. Still kind of weird if you ask me that he absorbs them inside of himself, sheesh!!! 😓 😓 😓 I didn’t expect he does that when one of them dies. I guess Klein just accidentally stumbled upon him doing it cause we were completely oblivious to what he has been doing all this time. IDK if it’s demigod fam since I don’t have that much knowledge when it comes to LOTM, I think Spriggan might be able to answer that for us.

This does not help the people that died. Just that he choose to absorb the beyonder characteristics to feel that those nighthawkers can continue to fight alongside him and protect Tingen, symbolically. Those extra consumed beyonder characteristic will make him stronger but also means more to digest and closer to madness. Those that died due to madness/corruption cannot be absorbed though. Likely will become mad if absorb. Captain is not vampire/mutant if anyone is still wondering.
Absorbing the beyonder characteristics means it takes more time to digest. So it actually slow down the advancement speed for Captain. It will also be harder to pass the advancement process in future (easier to lose control).

Not sure what you are referring to when you write “the sequence is different”. Kenley is same pathway as captain so no problem absorbing his. I not really sure what Captain will do for people of different pathway. Most likely surrender them to Church. Too risky to take in different pathway characteristics

You mean the guy that showed up to “test/interrogate” Klein before approving his advancement?
Mythical Creatures are trump cards for high-SEQ beyonders. It’s the form they take to ensure instant victory against anyone lower than them: only a god can gaze upon another god. At seq 4, it’s incomplete. But those of the spectator pathway at that sequence can use this form without losing control.

Do we know if another season is being done on this yet? Its one of the few that really seem worth it, but because of its animation style it will take atleast 2 seasons [if not longer] to make it
