Book Differences (that I can recall):

• 1) The bounty was actually introduced by Old Neil really early in the book and not by Dunn
• 2) Combat training was taught by a retired knight during the afternoons on Wednesdays I believe. Dunn is way too busy to teach every rookie how to fight xD.
• 3) Azik’s whistle was given earlier during the end of the Lamud town’s ruins exploration (recall the castle where they found someone had stolen the skeletal head of Azik’s son)
• 4) Klein’s brother, Benson uses the phrase ‘curly-haired baboon’ not ‘crested baboon’. It’s a slang in Loen to mean people with low intelligence.
• 5) Hood Eugen was introduced by an informant of Klein, whom he found in the black market buying ingredients for Seq/Lv 9 Spectator potion (recall he know this because Justice/Audrey Hall was given it during the early Tarot meetings) and not by Dunn. By the way if he hadn’t escape, Klein would have been in a vegetative state. The informant if I recall also helps Klein obtain potion formulas for the Spectator pathway so he can trade with Justice. I guess the studio is skipping that.
• 6) Divination on Lady Sharron in the fog actually did not fail. Divining above the fog doesn’t often fail especially for mundane subjects like this.
• 7) Klein actually sees a full blown sex scene with Lady Sharron and the deceased councilor when he used medium ship on the corpse. There was also a funny interaction between his corpse and Azik’s whistle which was skipped.
• 8) This bullet point is the one I’m most peeved about. There are WAY too many changes. Klein responds to the Sun’s prayers when he was ALONE, not during a Tarot meeting. The Sun’s induction to the Tarot club happened over a long period of time earlier in the book- it was not a one and done thing because of the Sun’s unique circumstances. He meets with him beforehand after some preparation and learns a lot about the Forsaken Land before bringing him into the Tarot meeting. He does this so he doesn’t look like an ignoramus in front of the Tarot members and maintains the Fool’s prestigious front. Also the Sun’s first appearance was skipped, he was praying to find a way to not have to kill and Klein acknowledged it, but chose to ignore his pleas since he was cautious about who to bring into the Tarot club (screening period so to speak) and he needed to brush on his Jotun language. Just a FYI at this Tarot meeting in the book, Klein (Fool) was only a Lv9 Seer, Audrey (Justice) was Lv9 Spectator and Alger (Hanged Man) was a Lv8/7 Folk of Rage/Seafarer of the Sailor path and Derrick (Sun) is not a beyonder.
