Yes, this is indeed the future of the story connected to RI and all Er Gen novels, if I’m not mistaken, but a future that is very very far from the RI timeline. The universe/world in this story (also called the star ring) is upper, while in RI story is lower. Wang Lin and MCs in the previous Er Gen novels have reached at least the 9th step in their cultivation realms at the beginning of this donghua story.
Holy moly 9th step really exists? I have not read the other novels, only renegade Immortal. And I though the 4th step Heaven trampling was the peak of cultivation. With the 5th Step being transcendence and wang lin reaching the 5th step in I shall seal the heavens.

– 5th step: Illusion Reality to Indestructible (Imperial Sovereign) = Lower to High God (Godfire)
– 6th step: Immortal Embryo (Imperial Sovereign) < Flawless (Godfire)
– 7th to 8th steps: Quasi Immortal = Altar God
– 9th step: Lower or Summer Immortal = True God
– 10th step: Immortal Lord = God Lord/God Emperor
– 11th step: Immortal Paragon = God Paragon
– 12th step: Formless Truth = Divine God/Living God
FYI, the ‘=’ above means ‘equal to’ and ‘<‘ means ‘less than’ because there are Immortal Cultivation Path and God Cultivation Path in Er Gen novels. Maybe some of my information is inaccurate because among Er Gen’s novels, only RI left an impression on me haha..

Atleast what i appreciate with this enemy he meets an enemy and he kills the enemy in the same episode.
Even though he doesn’t kill at the start of the episode, he kills the enemy at the second part of the episode before the end.
He doesn’t waste any time and he thinks of a plan before fighting. 💪💪

I like that the MC has a policy of not leaving enemies alive to avoid future problems. I hope the guy taking care of him doesn’t betray him or die, but seeing as he already had a rough start, I honestly don’t expect the author to be merciful to him. Lemme just brace myself, after all, Wang Lin had a better start and the author did him dirty.
