Tbh we hardly knew these people, aside from Baron, so I don’t really feel too saddened about the intel squad dropping like flies. That being said, until I see their bodies, I refuse to believe the remaining two of the intel squad are dead.

Despicable big shots, using their own people as bait. I didn’t like Gusta and he behaved more like a hothead than a general, dooming all his men instead of thinking strategically, but he had courage, the loyalty of his Legion, and he didn’t deserve 2b thrown under the bus like that.

Doesn’t A. Xiu’s ex ever get tired of keeping that pose, hands clasped in front of her, like a rigid doll with a metal rod for spine, keeping the ladylike pose, prim and proper. She probably learned it at Finishing School. xD

A final thought in honour of the fallen. All the nameless heroes who died so a higher rank could live another day.

I still can't believe this is the last episode of the season. It's either that or they really are taking another hiatus break or something. The only donghua that's taking breaks, mid-season bro. I guess they are already delivering us a good quality donghua, and after this, we have like 12 episodes left. So when they continue, it's like having a 3rd season already underway lol. I didn't expect we would be back with Dilin and Zichuan Ning. In a way, she is in safe hands in this story since Dilin is with her. I sometimes really do question what her role is in all of this. It's like she is just there existing and nothing else. We know she is the successor to that old man, but that's really it. We just see her from time to time in this story. So after 40 episodes of season 2, we finally have somebody finding Bai Chuan's beauty to be attractive. This dude is kind of talkative, though, so I don't even think the compliment is working on her. Bai Chuan will always be our number 1 tomboyish girl in this series. They better not change that cause that's next-level appeal right there. Jesus, what a sacrifice they just made so the others could cross the bridge. Including that dude who fell at the bridge at the end. RIP to them Bai Chuan even tried to save him, but to no avail. You really can't expect who will die in this series. I know they were just some random NPC's that were introduced, but damn to die in the same episode?? That's kind of rough, fam. Geez!!! Even that girl who protected Bai Chuan during that battle they went through died. Okay, so basically, the whole squad that she met in this episode gave up their lives just so she could move forward and deliver the message, damn. Kind of a crazy way for them to end the season this way, btw. To accomplish the mission, sacrifices are needed, as they always say.
