I still have to start. That’ll be my next binge when I’m done with this fucking course. That way, at least a few episodes of the new season would have dropped by the time I’m done. The procrastinator is showing.

Lucky you. But I’m glad I can say I was here from day one.

I’ve read the novel up to the chapter 500 (which is around twice the content adapted by the donghua as of now).
And my suggestion is to keep watching donghua without spoiling yourself anything.
ToHG donghua is very faithful to the source material so you won’t miss out on anything. However the visuals add so much flavour to the story, mainly because in the novel, author doesn’t like to mice with words when descring the environment.
Normally you’d expect that the novel has more detail than the donghua, but I think it’s the opposite here.
And lastly, the last 200 chapters of the novel don’t have a translation, so there is that too.

Funny part is that, MC, thinking village chief gpa is fighting without weapon or fairly lol
