Yeah, thought so. because i vividly remember confrontation between Li baozen and ping, it was supposed to happen way later when Chenping was returning home from after saving that family or manor with girl from *salecite mountain falling in love with scholar (I don’t fully remember) around like somewhere between 500 to 600 chapter not at 200 chapter mark. It marks that after this fight if he encounter Li baozen next time, he would die. Similar with He Xiaolian, she leaves for founding her own sect. However, it doesn’t feel overall out of place, so I guess no complain.

They brought forward the meeting with He Xiaoliang and Chen Ping’an and the conversation between Lu Chen and He Xiaoliang, to make the story more linear and understandable. In fact, compared to the novel, here the character of Zuo Zi is introduced first, briefly explaining who he is, making it easier to understand the words Cui Chan addresses to Chen Ping’an, especially since Chen Ping’an will most likely meet him again in the next season (assuming the third season will have more than 27 episodes). As for the confrontation between Chen Ping’an and Li Baozen, I think it was brought forward only to give the protagonist a “small moment of glory” since he hasn’t done “anything significant” this season.

Is it only me or does anyone also feels, some of the plot has been brought forward, like I remember He becoming Lu Chen disciple whole chen ping was already on his journey. She came to find him in the intercontinent ship not at mountain. Second is Li Baoping brother plot? I may be misremembering things too.
