Novel and donghua is worlds apart. Yes the donghua is good, but the Novel is 100% still the best.

Novel has so much details, monologues, writings that obviously donghua either cannot show or skipped.

Honestly the Studio and Tencent is so lucky they get to adapt this Er Gen Novel even if they are paying the author in return for copyrights. Its probably one of the, if not author’s best one.

Donghua can make whatever changes or skip whatever they want, because they already own the full rights to Renegade Immortal, they probably paid the author a huge sum of money for it.
