How do these villains ever make it to where they are with their tiny egos? It doesn’t make sense.
Compare them to villains from other media like for example all the villains in something like Great Ruler, where people at the top are literally colluding with foreign demons and betraying their closest friends to get ahead. Live a lie so no one finds out. And build networks to literally hide their schemes. But to the public they act very reasonable
