It ends at 173. Is that why the last couple episodes the show suddenly went back to being great? Or could they be shopping for a new sponser. Its obviously started losing viewers exponentially when eps turned to…well shitty by comparison.
Everyone at studio knows it they were only responsible for making episodes. Corporate raiders Sony/funimation made changes to episodes that wrecked this and all the other shows tanking now.
We can only pray they lose a lot of money. Enough so the board can take control back, boot everyone who claimed they knew better out of the studio. Because that’s what will it take to get Donghua back on track.

I forgot that they love this sort of thing as a hiatus fam like the way they did it the first time in season 1. 😅😅😅 They ended it abruptly and left us on a cliffhanger.

I don’t know why they changed the story so much, obviously not many people are watching this or have dropped it, so I think this was the wrong move by them. The screenwriters think their own route is better than the novel and did this 🤦

For any donghua fans always prefer the donghua follow and stay loyal to the novel as close as possible. Because the donghua would never exist without a source.

Only exception I seen so far is Eclipse of Illusion and Island of Siliang 🤷

Like if you wanna go your own route and change 90% of the story, don’t be calling it the same name as the novel. Just call it an entirely new donghua separately.
